People-Centred Change Leadership Programme

Completing the programme means that you’ll achieve Workplace Innovation People-Centred Change Leadership Status and the ILM Level 5 Award in Leadership and Management.

Companies face unprecedented challenges in an economy dominated by globalisation, rapid technological advances, demographic change and fast-shifting consumer demands. The ability to reinvent products, services and processes continually is becoming essential for survival and success.

Tackling these challenges can’t be done by senior teams alone: they need to harness the creativity, insights and engagement of the entire workforce. Leaders need to empower others to take the initiative, coaching and supporting them towards successful outcomes. They must become the champions of employee empowerment, participation and voice.

A blended programme for current and emerging Change Leaders, providing them with the knowledge, skills and practical tools to improve or transform workplace practices and culture. The Programme provides individual and/or group support to Change Leaders, helping them to identify challenges and opportunities, build the business case for action, learn from innovative practice, acquire the personal competencies required to inspire and lead and others, and master a range of tried and tested tools and practical resources.

Driven at a pace determined by each participant and the requirements of the company, the Programme is delivered through a combination of webinars, e-learning, online coaching/mentoring, and action planning. Programme participants also join the Fresh Thinking Labs community of people driving change in diverse organisations, with opportunities for peer-to-peer exchange as well as interaction with external experts.

Participants can gain an ILM (Institute for Leadership and Management) qualification at the end of the Programme based on the practical experiences they acquire as Change Leaders.

  • In-house workshops and action learning. (Optional: available at extra cost)

Our approach is based on blended learning, giving you the best possible combination of e-learning, one-to-one coaching and mentoring, webinars, and peer-to-peer exchanges of ideas and experience. You’ll also access your individual online Action Plan, and we’ll work with you to help translate learning into practical ideas for change in your workplace.

You’ll access all your individual programme material on our interactive Fresh Thinking Labs e-learning platform including films, case studies, articles, practical tools and downloadable resources, organised in intuitive, clearly explained, action-oriented themes.

Your online Learning Log allows you to capture key points from each theme, and to explore how you could apply them in practice. This is how we add tutor comments, assess your progress, and avoid the need for lengthy assignments.

Fresh Thinking Labs also enables you to connect with people on the Programme from other organisations through discussion forums, and a ‘search and connect’ facility helps you find those with similar interests. We’ll make bespoke introductions, and invite you to take part in themed webinars to share experiences and challenges with others.

While you study in your own way and at your own pace, we’ll keep in regular contact to ensure that you have all the advice and support you need. For most participants, this flexible Programme will involve circa 40 hours e-learning and assessment, a minimum 8 hours of one-to-one tuition, plus monthly webinars and workshops on key topics.

The Programme exceeded all expectations and was enjoyable and rewarding. Invaluable facilitation of cultural change.

David MacPherson, Head of Chemistry, Charles River.

I highly recommend the Programme and suggest that everyone should go on it. It works for every size of business.

Chris Owens, Finance Director, Institute for Occupational Medicine.
