Ten Years of EUWIN
What Next?
EUWIN (was created by the European Commission (DG GROW) in January 2013 as a learning network, designed to promote the concept and practice of workplace innovation. Workplace innovation is an evidence-based, practical and participative approach to enhancing organisational performance simultaneously with improving working lives. It holds enormous potential for helping Europe to achieve its economic and social goals for prosperity, inclusion and sustainability.
EUWIN has reached across Europe, inspiring and informing companies, social partners, policymakers and researchers. Our Bulletin reaches 1500+ subscribers (and very many more via social media), our live events and webinars have helped to strengthen workplace innovation in several European countries, and our Knowledge Bank and website contain hundreds of articles, case studies and practical resources.
Above all, EUWIN revolves around a close consortium of partners including research organisations, government bodies and NGOs, together with a wider stakeholder network. When European Commission funding for EUWIN ceased in 2017, the consortium decided to continue its work by creating a subscription-based organisation combined with considerable in-kind support. Members of this consortium are driving successful and exciting EU Horizon projects such as Beyond 4.0 and Bridges 5.0.
Yet there is much still to do in helping European companies and workers to achieve a better future, not least in making the transition to a digital, green and fair economy. And there remains a very ‘long tail’ of companies still on the journey towards better ways of working – or who haven’t started it yet.
That’s why we’re strengthening the EUWIN Community.
EUWIN is governed by a small Executive Board elected by a General Assembly of subscribing organisations. We welcome new member organisations with a demonstrable commitment to workplace innovation (the 2023/4 subscription is €660).
You can also Sign our Manifesto, arguing for stronger European, national and regional policy support for workplace innovation.
And you’ll soon be able to engage with the EUWIN community on the Fresh Thinking Labs platform. Register now for more information as soon as it becomes available.
