SUMMARY:WEBINAR: Preparing for the Future of Work in 2040 and 2100
DESCRIPTION:\n \n WEBINAR: Preparing for the Future of Work in 2040 and 2100 \n\n \n \n \n \nThis is a webinar and it will be delivered via Microsoft Teams. This webinar is part of the EUWIN and Bridges 5.0 programme of events. \nPlease note: starting time is 11 am CET and 10 am UK. \n\n\n \n \n \n In this interactive webinar\, you are invited to explore the results of two projects examining the future of work across different time horizons. The session will present key findings from a European strategic foresight process that identified ten high-impact trends likely to shape the way we work over the next 10 to 15 years. \n\n\n \n \n \n Drawing on desk research\, expert interviews\, a survey of 187 experts across 29 countries\, and a multi-stakeholder workshop\, the project highlights themes such as AI governance\, automation\, digital skills\, demographic change\, flexibility\, and evolving employment models. The results of the project laid the foundation for future funding calls of the European Commission in these areas. These insights will be complemented by the project results of “Future Work” \, a second project focused on the future of work in 2100. Together\, the two projects connect current shifts with longer-term perspectives and make this interactive webinar especially relevant for practitioners seeking a strategic reflections with their peers. \n\n\n \n \n \n \n\n\nSpeakers:\n\n\n\n\n\n \n \n \n Simon Winter\nDLR-PT \n\n\n \n \n \n Simon Winter works as Strategic Foresight Expert in the European and International Cooperation Department at the DLR Project Management Agency.
